En Cuba, se cultivan m\u00e1s de 179,000 ha de bananos y pl\u00e1tanos, que se utilizan principalmente como alimento b\u00e1sico. Su investigaci\u00f3n se centrar\u00e1 en la diversidad de Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense en Cuba.
